I do not notice a change in poi at those short distances

What is the point of loading hotter than? If the min load shoots OK, why go any higher?
I don’t shoot comps., so my loads will be for plinking and carry ammo.

Terminal performance. It doesn’t mater much for target or plinking, but for carry/hunting it could make a lot of difference. If a bullet is not expanding or penetrating well at 1000fps it may do better at 1200fps.Originally Posted by ROB
